Hello, My name is Captain Tommy Mahinis and I am a USCG licensed and insured inshore fishing guide in the West Central Florida area of Tarpon Springs.  I was introduced to the sport of fishing as a knee high child by my father, who was an avid fisherman in the Tarpon Springs area.  Also, my grandfather was one of the first Greek settlers in Tarpon Springs to own and captain his own sponge fishing boat in the early 1900's.  So it's easy to say that salt water does run through my veins!

I was fortunate as a child growing up having the Gulf of Mexico as my playground.  There wasn't a day that went by that we weren't either fishing or exploring the surrounding islands off of Tarpon Springs.  As I got a little older, I realized that the fishing potential that this area of Florida possesed was just absolutely amazing.  With all the knowledge I have gathered and retained over the years has been to my success in the angling arena.  Now, I get a thrill by putting my customers where the fish are!  For me, it is a priveledge to see the smiling faces of happy children and adults alike experiencing what the West Coast of Florida fishing has to offer.
